FilesPro Private File Manager Privacy Policy

FilesPro Private File Manager is a private file manager designed to help you securely store and organize your documents, IDs, images, and personal files on your own device. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and how your privacy is protected.

2. Information We Collect

FilesPro is designed with privacy in mind. The core app does not create user accounts and does not upload your documents to any external server. Your files and metadata are stored locally on your device.

However, the app may interact with the following types of data:

• Locally stored documents & images: Files you import or capture are stored on your device’s storage and are never automatically uploaded by FilesPro.
• App usage & diagnostics (if enabled by the OS or platform): Basic crash reports or diagnostics may be collected by the operating system or app store to improve stability.

3. How We Use Information

FilesPro uses locally stored data only to provide core app functionality, including:

• Displaying and organizing your documents and images.
• Allowing you to add custom metadata or details to your files.
• Enabling search, sorting, and quick access to important records.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not build user profiles based on your documents or content.

4. Storage of Documents & Metadata

All documents, images, and metadata you add in FilesPro are stored locally on your device storage or app-specific storage. If you uninstall the app or reset your device, your files and metadata may be permanently deleted unless you have backed them up manually.

5. Permissions

FilesPro may request access to certain device features to function properly:

• Photos / Media / Files: To import images, PDFs, and other documents from your gallery or file system.
• Camera: To capture photos or scans of documents you want to store in the app.

These permissions are used only to let you pick or capture files. FilesPro does not access your media or documents beyond what you explicitly select.

6. Third-Party Services

On some platforms (for example, the Android version), FilesPro may integrate third-party services such as advertising SDKs (e.g., Google Mobile Ads) to support development.

These third-party services may collect device identifiers, approximate location, or usage data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any third-party services if they are present in your version of the app.

The iOS version of FilesPro is designed to operate without user-tracking ads. Any platform- specific differences will be governed by the relevant store listing and OS settings.

7. Children’s Privacy

FilesPro is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since files are stored locally and no account system is used, we do not have direct access to any user's age or identity.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in features, third- party integrations, or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
