Welcome to Awwly — Make Someone Feel Loved ("Awwly", "we", "our", or "us"), developed and operated by HeyIDB ("Developer"). Awwly helps people connect, strengthen relationships, and express feelings through conversation and AI-generated personalized moments, cards, and reflections.

Your privacy is paramount to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, transfer, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile app and related web services. This document forms an integral part of our Terms of Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to provide a secure and personalized experience.

a. Information You Provide Directly

  • Account Data: Authentication credentials and primary email address provided via Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In.
  • Profile Data: Display name and optional profile picture.
  • User Content: Chat messages, custom prompts, and saved Awwly moments.

b. Automatically Collected Data

  • Device Information: Operating system version (iOS/Android) and system language.
  • Usage Analytics: Anonymized interaction statistics measured via Firebase Analytics.
  • Notification Tokens: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens used to deliver chat activity alerts.
  • Crash Reports: Technical logs captured by Firebase Crashlytics to debug failures.

c. AI Interaction Data

Anonymized prompt inputs processed via Google Gemini API to generate personalized messages and visual cards.

Our Data Guarantees:

  • We do NOT sell your personal data or user content.
  • We do NOT share your personal information with third-party advertisers.
  • We do NOT use your private messages or moments to train public AI models.

3. AI Processing & Security

Awwly uses the Google Gemini API to power dynamic moment generation. Transmitted prompt inputs are encrypted over TLS. AI outputs are provided solely for personal expression and entertainment.

4. Account Deletion Rights

You can delete your account directly inside the app under Settings > Account > Delete Account, or by emailing basavaraja@heyidb.com.
